The Sunday Morning Experience
Sunday morning begins with a warm welcome at the door. Over 100 Ambassadors volunteer their time on Sunday to welcome you and answer any questions. From finding the right Sunday School class, getting coffee, or dropping your child off at the nursery, the Ambassadors will make sure you feel right at home.
Three distinctly different styles of worship are offered each Sunday to ensure you experience the fullness of the good news of Jesus Christ. Wonderful sermons embody God's good news to all and invite you to faithfully participate in Christ's service to the world.

Month of Sundays in September
September 7, 2008 Rally Day
Readings from Scripture: Romans 13: 8-14 and Matthew 18: 15-20
Sermon: “A Gathered Presence” Dr. Holyan preaching
As a community of faith, we have the power to bind people by not forgiving them. We also have the power of setting them free, even, or especially, when they do not deserve it. We learn the amazing truth: when we bind, we are also bound; when we loose, we are the ones set free.
September 14, 2008
Readings from Scripture: Romans 14: 1-12 and Matthew 18: 21-35
Sermon: “The Incessant Call to Forgive” Dr. Holyan preaching
The divine math of mercy is hard to understand. When Jesus tells us we must forgive not seven times but seventy-seven times; we know he is crazy. He is crazy with grace, crazy with mercy, crazy with love. We are in need of constant forgiveness. We are invited again to live out that which we receive––the unending forgiveness of God.

Readings from Scripture: Exodus 16: 2-15 and Matthew 20: 1-16
Sermon: “More Than We Deserve” Dr. Holyan preaching
The merit system of God is very different from the merit system of the world. We work hard to differentiate ourselves by what and who we know. God knows us all, seeing the beauty of our common humanity. God's desire is for all people to be loved and cared for through the faithfulness of the church.
September 28, 2008
Readings from Scripture: Exodus 17: 1-7 and Matthew 21: 23-32
Sermon: “Trick Questions” Dr. Blanchard preaching
Moses faces thirsty and angry people in the wilderness, and Jesus is bombarded with questions from authorities unsettled by his message. How do our anxieties shape our faith in a constantly changing world?
