Fellowship Activities

Youth Groups
Throughout the school year, Middle School Youth Group meets each Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. The High School Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Quest Confirmation Class
This year, eighth and ninth graders are invited to participate in a Confirmation Program called Quest - a class designed to provide a beginning to the journey of what it means to be a vital part of a community of faith and to call oneself 'Christian.' Quest covers the basics of the Christian faith in the Reformed tradition; an understanding of what it means to be Presbyterian, and the privileges and responsibilities of being an active member of the church.

Sunday School
Middle and High School Sunday School is offered from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. each Sunday morning. The curriculum is based off of the "Seasons of the Spirit," yet enhanced by each teachers unique experience. The curriculum follows the liturgical calendar, with Scripture readings and discussions pertinent to the story under consideration and the actual events in the lives of the youth.

Retreats
Mound Ridge Retreat Center on the lower Meramec River near Steelville, MO is a wonderful place for the youth groups to gather for a weekend. These themed retreats provide time away from the daily flow of life in order to create sacred space for fellowship and reflection.

Team Building Activities
During mission trips, retreats and youth groups meetings, the youth members often take part in team-building activities. Events such as rope courses, zip lines, rock climbing, trust and word games, sports activities, music development, relays and group discussions help to develop problem solving and relationship building skills.

Leadership Development
From fund raising for Work Camp to volunteering during Vacation Bible Camp, the youth have ample opportunities to develop leadership skills that will be with them as they enter college.
